A young girl's Western tale of honor and revenge, "True Grit" by Charles Portis is Albion's 2017 Big Read. Today's discussion is led by Big Read youth leaders and sponsored by Albion chapter of the Association of American University Women.
Albion's third Big Read is celebrated with many discussions and other events throughout October. Join us on the roof of Palenske Hall and in our historical observatory in the Honors Building for a lunar viewing.
The telescopes will be open to the campus community and the public for viewing celestial objects, weather permitting.
The Alvan Clark telescope is located within the Brown Honors Building near the center of the Albion College Quadrangle. Palenske Hall is located within the Science Complex on East Michigan Avenue, just east of Hannah Street. View the campus map for more information.
