The Symphony Orchestra performs its last concert of the season on Sunday, April 28 at 4 PM in Goodrich Chapel.
The orchestra is joined by Concerto Competition winner soprano McKenzie Shafer ('15), who will sing arias by Bedrich Smetana and Jacques Offenbach. The concert also marks the debut performance of Quantum Enigma, composed by student Joe Barden ('13). Barden is a piano student and an active member of several performing ensembles. Associate Conductor Andrew Dunham leads the orchestra for Danse Macabre, Op. 40 by Camille Saint-Saens, and the concert ends with a performance of Beethoven's famous Symphony No. 6 in F Major (Pastoral).
