Shamrock Pancake Dinner

Kappa Delta's annual Shamrock Pancake Dinner. 5-8pm in Upper Baldwin.  Tickets are on sale Friday September 23, 10-2pm and Sunday, September 25 5:30-7:30pm in the KC. Cost is $5 presale or $7 at the door.  All proceeds to benefit Prevent Child Abuse America and the Calhoun County CAN Council. Hope to see you there!

Albion's Big Read Kick-Off

This free, outdoor event officially marks the beginning of Albion's Big Read month! It will feature circus performers, face painters, live music, food vendors, a photo booth, and countless community organizations. Join us rain or shine in Holland Park starting at 1:00 PM. This event is open to the public.

The Haunted Library—An Evening with ParaHaunt Paranormal Researchers

Is Stockwell Library haunted?  ParaHaunt, Michigan's premier paranormal research team will share their findings along with stories from past ghost hunting experiences from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wendell B. Will Room at Stockwell Memorial Library on Tuesday, October 25.  Check out their equipment and share stories.  Seating is limited, so if you want a ghost of a chance to join in the fun, come early!

Albion's Big Read Keynote Speaker and Celebration

Join us at 7:00 PM at the newly renovated Bohm Theater to celebrate our Big Read leaders, our town, and the work of books in our world with Rita Williams-Garcia. Coretta Scott King Award Winner, NAACP Image Award Finalist, and National Book Award Finalist, Ms. Williams-Garcia will be talking about the power of books to help us remember and recover our past and to help us live more joyfully, more ethically, more fully in the present.
