Uniform

Member of the Albion College Basketball Pep Band wear the official purple and white rugby shirt, issued by band managers prior to the start of the season, with blue jeans and their choice of shoes. Face paint, Albion College hats, and other college spirit gear are all encouraged!
 

Game-time Expectations

All band members participating on a given day are expected to arrive 1/2 hour prior to the start of the game. Most games begin at either 3:00pm or 7:30pm, so this means arrive at 2:30pm or 7:00pm.

Once the Pep Band's duties begin (at the shoot around), everyone is expected to stand and cheer wildly for the entire game to show their active support of our teams! Everyone must be ready to play Rule Brittania, Let's Go Brits!, and Fyte Onne at a moment's notice. These tunes must be memorized!

Pep Band music folders will be provided at every game for you to use. The folders are organized alphabetically and should remain that way for easy access to tunes. All folders must be returned at the end of each game.

Replacements/Subs

Occasionally there may come a time where you need to find a sub. Should this happen, it is your responsibility, not the DM's or the Director's, to find the replacement. A list of all pep band members will be provided for everyone in the band to help with your search.

Sportsmanship

We are a positive force at the basketball games. We cheer FOR our team, and NOT AGAINST the opponent. Students unable to cooperate on this issue will be dismissed from the band.
