Albion Pro Choral
Albion Pro
Choral
is a semi-professional choir mostly consisting of professional musicians (many
are alumni who are former Briton Singers). It convenes for a minimal number of rehearsals to
rehearse and perform specific choral masterworks chosen by Dr. Rose, its
artistic director and conductor.
Women's Chorus
Women's Chorus,
founded in Fall 2007 by Dr. Rose,
is the most recent addition to the Albion College family of choirs. The
women of this ensemble rehearse and perform a variety of choral works under the
direction of Karen TenBrink.
Opera Workshop
Every other year, Albion College holds an opera
workshop allowing interested students within and without the college choirs to
perform a variety of acclaimed works, such as Gilbert and Sullivan's operas, on
the Goodrich Chapel stage. John King, a vocal instructor and member of
Concert Choir, directs the workshop with a student assistant.
