The Albion College Hymn: Albion, Dear Albion (pdf)

The Briton Singers is a select group of 25 singers chosen from the Concert Choir membership. The group specializes in chamber choir literature and rehearses Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:10 - 1:00 p.m. Major events for the Briton Singers include hosting Albion ChoralFest, a high school chamber choir festival, and performing an annual Spring Concert (either a madrigal dinner or a Gilbert and Sullivan revue). The Briton Singers are led by Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Douglas Rose.

Most recently, the Briton Singers traveled to Budapest, Hungary for the Musica Mundi International Choir Festival. They joined choirs from literally all over the world in a grand week-long event.

Briton Singers in Budapest

In 2005 choir members toured Great Britain along with several Albion College alums. The trip culminated with a performance of Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms at the famed Chichester Cathedral!

Britons in Britain

Members of the ensemble are directed to the Briton Singers Practice Page to familiarize themselves with this semester's repertoire.
