Albion   College   Mathematics and Computer Science

Albion College is a private liberal arts college dedicated to the highest quality in undergraduate education. The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Albion College includes the disciplines of pure and applied mathematics, computer science, and statistics. The department offers majors and minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. The curriculum is structured to meet the overlapping needs of students who fall in one or more of the following categories:

• those who wish to develop their appreciation of the power and beauty of mathematics;
• those who wish to explore the dynamic field of computer science;
• those who intend to pursue graduate work in mathematics, computer science, or other related fields;
• those who will exploit the applications of mathematics and computer science in the natural sciences, social sciences, or other areas of quantitative studies; and
• those who plan to enter the teaching profession in mathematics or computer science.
