CS 261: Computers, the User, and Society



Description:

The course will examine how computers and used and fit into society. The first part of the course will focus on user interface design, and a large part of this section will be devoted to designing a graphical user interface. The second part of the course will explore more general issues of human-computer interaction. The end of the course will focus on how the computer has changed society, and what the role of the computer professional should be.
