Visiting Mathematics Faculty Position
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Albion College invites
applications for a full-time visiting position
begining January 2008 and will be for the second semester
of the 2007-08 academic year and the entire 2008-09 academic year.
The successful applicant will have the responsibility of
teaching primarily statistics courses, at the introductory level and advanced undergraduate level
(our Math 109, 210, 309, and 310).
Some teaching of introductory mathematics may be required.
An advanced degree in the mathematical sciences or related field is required; a Ph.D.
is preferred. The teaching load is three introductory courses per
semester. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
Albion College is a private liberal arts college of about 1900 students,
