The E. Roscoe Sleight Memorial Scholarship Fund
Each year the Department of Mathematics at Albion College selects
several entering students to receive the E. R. Sleight Scholarship.
These awards have been established in honor of E. R. Sleight,
a professor in the Mathematics Department from 1908 to 1948, by his nephews.

Scholarship Provisions:
- Student should be entering or attending Albion College with an aptitude
for mathematics or computer science, as shown by the high school record and test
scores, and should be pursuing a course of study in the mathematical sciences.
- The student should have shown qualities of leadership and citizenship
in the high school years.
- Grants will be up to $1500 and will be renewable for four years,
as long as he/she maintains a grade point
in the upper fifty percent of the class, continues to exhibit the same
qualities of citizenship and leadership shown while in high school, pursues
a major in the Math Department or continues to take a math or computer science
course each year.
