Computer Science Faculty Position

We seek quality applicants who have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching computer science at the introductory and advanced undergraduate level.  Our department offers both a major and a minor in computer science.  Individuals with an active research agenda  are sought, especially those with a strong interest in working with undergraduates.

Our department has two instructional/research computer laboratories running Windows and Linux respectively.  A Macintosh lab available for use in the college Library.  A SGI Octane2 is available for use in a shared science laboratory.  Albion has extensive campus computing facilities including wireless networking and is a member of the Internet2 consortium. Albion was ranked 7th most wired small college in the previous two Yahoo Internet life surveys.  We are in the beginning stages of a $42 Million renovation/construction project of the existing science complex which will include state-of-the-art space for computer science education.  More departmental information is available at http://www.albion.edu/math/. Albion College is a private liberal arts college of about 1600 students, dedicated to the highest quality in undergraduate education.
