The primary objectives of Albion College Special Collections are to 1) collect, preserve and make available records, manuscripts, artifacts and ephemera that accurately document the history of Albion College and the West Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church; 2) document, in the same fashion, the lives of those who have touched and forever changed these institutions; and 3) collect and make available for research rare and unique resources that support the curriculum and academic endeavors of Albion College faculty, staff and students.

No special credentials or permissions are necessary to use our materials. Our collections are available for research by the Albion College community, members of the West Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church, and the general public. We do require that all researchers schedule an appointment for their visit so that we may prepare accordingly.
