Dear Mrs. Toncray:

I would like to have you take charge of the plate committee which consists of selling college plates to former students of Albion.  You may appoint your own committee and I would suggest that it be entirely a woman's project.  I think it would be fine if you would have a committee chairman in each Alumni club to work with you so as to create interest in your project.  I am having Kenneth J. Hollinshead, secretary of our Alumni Association send you literature regarding these plates.  The purpose of the plates, as you no doubt know, is to raise money for the Alumni Association and create more interest in Albion College.

As you no doubt have been informed, you were elected as recording secretary of the Alumni Association at the last meeting of the council in June.  I hope you shall be able to attend our meetings from time to time.

I hope that I may hear from you to the effect that you will accept this appointment.
