PERIODICAL SUBSCRIPTION REQUEST FORM
Periodical subscriptions require long term financial commitments. To make
the best use of available financial resources it is important that all
requests for periodical subscriptions be examined carefully in relation to
the educational mission and limited financial resources of the Library. To
facilitate this process you are asked to use this form for new periodical
subscription requests. As with any budget, it is necessary to establish
priorities. Given the undergraduate teaching mission of Albion College,
the highest priorities will be given to subscriptions that support
the college curriculum.
Periodical subscriptions usually begin in January; however, we must pay
for them between July and mid-September. Requests for new
periodicals should be given to the Periodicals Librarian by early
September so there is time to evaluate requests and complete the order
process. We may not be able to get a complete volume for
orders placed later in the year.
