There is more to April than April showers and filing tax forms.  It is also National Poetry Month, and for the ninth year in a row, the Library will celebrate by hosting Poetry Fest.  This year’s theme is “Let Poetry Resound!”

Join us on Wednesday, April 9, from 3:00 p.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. in Stockwell Library’s Wendell Will Room.  Audience members may read aloud a favorite poem or their own poetry.  Good listeners are not only welcome, but vital to making the event a resounding success! 

Back by popular demand are prize drawings with a poetic twist.  The Friends of the Library will again provide the delectable refreshments that Poetry Fest devotees have come to anticipate.
