BasicBIOSIS
Includes over 300,000 records from 350 of the core life science journals most easily found in college and
university libraries. Coverage is from 1994 to the present. Updated monthly.
Web of Science
Web of Science provides keyword and citation searching of scholarly journals in the
sciences and social sciences from 1986 to the present.
Medline
MEDLINE indexes journal articles in medicine, nursing, psychiatry, neuroscience,
dentistry, allied health, veterinary medicine, and related fields.
PubMed Central "PubMed Central is a digital archive of life sciences journal literature,
developed and managed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information
(NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM)."
PubMed
"PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over
12 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and additional life science
journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and
other related resources."
General Science Abstracts
Indexes 150 journals and magazines from the U.S.
and Great Britain, covering such subjects as anthropology, astronomy, biology, computers, earth sciences,
medicine and health, and much more.Coverage is from 1984 to the present.
Biological and Agricultural
Index Nearly 250 English-language periodicals in life sciences
and agricultural subjects, published in the U.S. and elsewhere. Includes book reviews. July 1983 to the
present.
