Art Abstracts One of the most prominent indexes to journal and magazine articles in the visual arts. Humanities Abstracts Indexes 400 periodicals in archaeology, art, classics, film, folklore, journalism, linguistics, music, the performing arts, philosophy, religion, world history, and world literature. Coverage begins in 1984. Arts and Humanities Search Indexes 1300 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals. Coverage begins in 1980. LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe is a system of databases providing indexing and full text for a large number of newspapers and magazines. Often a good source for information on Art exhibitions. JSTOR JSTOR is a collection of scholarly journals, all with full text articles available online. This collection of journals, including many important history journals, can be searched by subject, author, and title. Historical Abstracts The most prominent index to articles and books for the field of non-U.S. history. Expanded Academic Index Full-Text EAI indexes approximately 3,400 journals and magazines and the New York Times. Full text online is provided for approximately 2,000 of the journals/magazines. Article1st Article1st indexes approximately 12,500 journals and magazines, across all subject areas. This database indicates which journal and magazine articles are available in the Albion College Library. WilsonSelectPlus WilsonSelectPlus Full Text contains indexed and abstracted articles from over 1300 periodicals, all with full text online. The dates of coverage begin January 1994 and continue to the present (please note that each periodical can begin on a different month and year).
