Humanities Abstracts
Indexes 400 periodicals in archaeology, art, classics, film, folklore, journalism, linguistics, music, the performing arts, philosophy, religion, world history, and world literature. Coverage begins in 1984.


AHSearch (Arts and Humanities Search)
Indexes 1300 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals. Coverage begins in 1980.


LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe
LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe is a system of databases providing indexing and full text for a large number of newspapers and magazines, as well as legal and medical sources


Expanded Academic Index Full-Text
EAI indexes approximately 3,400 journals and magazines and the New York Times. Full text online is provided for approximately 2,000 of the journals/magazines.


Article1st
Article1st indexes approximately 12,500 journals and magazines, across all subject areas. This database indicates which journal and magazine articles are available in the Albion College Library.


WilsonSelectPlus
WilsonSelectPlus contains full text articles from over 1400 periodicals. The database is comprised of records from the following H.W. Wilson databases: Readers' Guide Abstracts, Social Sciences Abstracts, Humanities Abstracts, General Science Abstracts and Wilson Business Abstracts. The dates of coverage begin with January 1994 and continue to the present (please note that each periodical can begin on a different month and year).

Provides indexing and full-text from scholarly journals in Anthropology, History, and many other disciplines. Unique, in that coverage for each journal begins with the first volume.


The Canadian Journal of Native Studies
"The Canadian Journal of Native Studies is a highly recognized journal in the field of Native Studies. It comes out on a bi-annual basis, and publishes original research which is refereed by peer review.

As a general focus, the journal publishes anthropological, historical, sociological, political, legal, educational and cultural issues affecting First Nations people. Although the majority of articles deal with Indigenous peoples in Canada, it also publishes articles dealing with Indigenous peoples world-wide.

A good measure of the journal's influence is the vast number of sources which index the title. These include: Abstracts of Native Studies, America: History and Life, Anthropological Index, Bibliography of Natives of North America, Canadian Index, Canadian Periodical Index, First Nations Periodical Index, Historical Abstracts, and MLA International Bibliography."
