Lexis-Nexis
Academic
Choose "Business," then "Company Financial" to search for information on
thousands of publicly-traded companies and millions of private companies in the
U.S. and worldwide.
Business and Company
Providing researchers with information on companies, markets
and industries. From market trends, mergers and acquisitions to current

The official SEC website for company filings.
EDGAR-Online People
This service has the best indexing for searching for people in the SEC data. While searching is free,
there are charges for full documents. A great way to find out the companies with which a particular insider
is affiliated. Once you've found the companies, switch to the free version of EDGAR for the documents.

Allows full text searches of SEC documents. For example,can search for Albion College

eComp Executive Compensation Database
Search the database by company name or ticker symbol to find executive
compensation for officers and directors of public companies. Data includes name,
title, salary, bonus, and total direct executive compensation.
Forbes PeopleTracker
Requires free registration. Search for and monitor information
and news about public company executives. Search for executives by name or
company stock symbol. Information provided includes the individual's title, compensation,
and stock options, as well as news stories about the officer and the company.
Searchers may opt to receive email updates.

Good source for insider trade information.

The Scannery is an investor focused web search platform that only searches the
websites of public companies from around the world. The Scannery covers over
12,000 companies and includes the S&P 500, Euro 400, and the Global 1000.

companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries. You'll
have to pay large bucks for full reports, but you
can get a decent amount of information just with
