The Stockwell building is connected to the Mudd building by a windowed
corridor, or what most people refer to as "the bridge." |

Photocopiers.
The library offers four photocopiers, two in the Mudd building and two in
Stockwell. They can only operate with a
copy card, and each copy
will debit your card by $.05. You can purchase a card from the
"Plasti-Cashier" which is located in the
library lounge on the Mudd side, or in the Ferguson building. Sorry,
it doesn't make change! |
| |
 |
Copy
Card Dispenser. The copy card dispenser, also called the Plasti-Cashier,
is located in the library lounge near the vending machines. You must
use a card to operate the
copiers in the library. Don't forget to
sign your card!
Each card
initially costs $1.00, but your card will be credited $0.50. To add
more money to card, insert the card back into the dispenser, and feed in
$1, $5, $10 or more. This machine does not accept
change. |

Mudd Level 2 Oversize.
This level also houses all the books deemed "oversize" for call numbers A
through L, and P. |
|
 |
Audio/Visual
Collection. The library owns over 3,000 videos and DVDs. A
small collection of multimedia CDs are in the same area. Audiotapes,
however, are shelved in the regular collection by call number. |

atmosphere, get a snack or something to drink. |
|
|
 |
Technical
Services Department. This is the area where books are ordered,
received, processed and generally "readied" before they
are shelved in the library. A busy place! |
|
|
 |
Classrooms.
The Mudd building offers two classrooms, 209 and 210, for meetings and
bibliographic instruction. The classrooms may be used separately or as one large
room.
Mudd 209 has a
chalkboard, a projection screen and a network connection.
Mudd 210 has a visualiser,
an InFocus data projector, a
network connection, cable access, and the use of the VCR, DVD and
laserdisc players.

Telephone.
This is the public use phone, located next to the elevator. Just
dial "9" to make a local call, or use your pin number to make a
long-distance call. The library does not have a pay phone. The Kellogg Center
is the closest location to access a pay phone. |
|
|
 |
Elevator.
The library has an elevator in each building for patron use as well as the
transport of book carts. Say "hi" to our hard-working
shelvers if you meet one on the elevator! |
