Level 3. Mudd Level 3 houses materials with the call numbers A -
G. Subject matter includes philosophy, religion, history and
geography. |

Emergency
Exit. When you enter the stairway, you will notice this
door. It is an emergency exit, and a obnoxiously loud alarm
will sound if you open it. Head on up the stairs! |

Online
Catalog. At the
top of the stairs, to your left, is the online catalog terminal.
Each floor of the Mudd building has a thin client, allowing patrons to
conveniently search for the materials they need. |

Writing
Skills Center.
Scott Hendrix
heads the Writing Skills Center, assisting Albion
students with writing and other academic endeavors. The offices are
located by the main stairs on the south wall. As you reach the
top of the stairs, go to the left. The doors to the center face the
west wall. Check the office door for hours or view

Quantitative
Skills and Learning Support Centers. If you turn to
the right at the top of the main stairs, you will see the office of the
Director of Academic Skills Center, the Learning Support office and
the Quantitative Skills Center (headed by
Karla
McCavit).
The Learning
Support Center offers help for students who struggle with dyslexia and other
learning problems. The Quantitative Skills Center assists
students with projects related to mathematics. Check the

and Rare Books Room. Albion College Special Collections holds
the College Archives, United Methodist Church West Michigan Conference
Archives, and Rare Books Collection. Included in the archives are
student honors theses, older Albion Pleiads and a first edition Book of

Madelon
Stockwell Turner Memorial Room. Inside the Archives is the
Stockwell Room, a memorial to the Albion alumnus who bequeathed a majority of
her estate to the college. This room contains her carved rosewood
