InMich is a innovative document delivery program involving the libraries listed above, with more being added all the time. These libraries have merged their holdings into a single online database that can be searched from any of the libraries' online catalogs.

Through the InMich database, library patrons can directly request books and other materials from the other libraries in the group without going through the traditional Interlibrary Loan process. When Albion students, faculty and staff request books in this way, the books will be delivered to the Library, and the requestor will be contacted when the book arrives.

From the Albion College Library’s Homepage :

choose • Library Catalog (WWW)

then choose •Search the Albion College Library Catalog.

Search for books either by

•Author, •Title, •Subject, or •keyWord.

If the Albion College Library does not have the book, you can automatically search the InMich database by clicking the button located at the top of the screen.

If the book is available in the InMich database you can request this item by clicking on •Request this item.

Choose your institution affiliation: Albion College

You must input your last name and the barcode number printed on your ID: (2 5044 …)
