Course Reserves
Housed at the
Circulation Desk, course reserves are designed to provide easy access to
materials that are in demand by a large number of students. They are given short
loan periods to maximize access. Some materials can also be placed on
electronic reserves (e-reserves) which can be accessed full-text via the world
wide web.
Reserve Loan Periods
Reserve files, books and
loan copies have different loan periods based on professor preference. The
four loan periods are:
-
Two hours, no overnight - may be
used in the library only for up to two hours.
-
Two hours, overnight - may leave the
library only if checked out within two hours of the library closing.
-
Four hours, overnight - may leave the
library only if checked out within four hours of the library closing.
-
24 hours - may be taken out of the
library for up to 24 hours.
-
Three days - may be taken out of the
library for up to three days.
