From http://library.albion.edu, click Search the Albion College Library Catalog

Scroll down to the course reserves links.  You may search by either course name (ex:  ENG 253), or by the professor’s last name (ex: MacInnes). 

For example:  Click on Course Reserves - Search by Professor's Name, and type Smith.  Press Search button.

 Click the link that is identified as an Electronic Reserve.

Click View or Print: Test #1.

 On the left side of the window is a prompt for your last name and barcode number.  Your barcode number is found on your college ID.  All barcode numbers begin 25044… 

 If your ID does not display your barcode number, or if the course reserve system doesn’t recognize your barcode, please show your ID to a Circulation Desk attendant, and you will be given the correct barcode number  (You can not get a barcode number over the phone).

 Below the prompt for barcode number is a brief statement concerning copyright restrictions.

On the right of the screen is a preview of the first page of the course reading, to help you access the correct file.

You may then view the reserve page by page, print all or part of the file, or even save the reserve to a disk.  

 Additional options include zoom (magnify) and rotate left or right. 

Note:  You must use the print button displayed.  Your web browser’s print button will not print the reading out.
