First
Floor |
The first
floor of the Kellogg Center
accommodates many important aspects
of the campus. The campus Post
Office is located here, which
provides mailboxes for students,
faculty, staff, and departments. The
Albion College Bookstore and the
Information desk are both located on the
first floor. This level also houses
the Campus Living Room and a Sales
and Solicitation area.
|
|

Upon entering the Kellogg Center
from Hannah Street you are greeted
by the large Albion "A", a gift from
the Class of 1995.

the first floor. Many student
organizations use this space to set
up tables to advertise events, sell
tickets, raise money for charities or
distribute information on a variety
of topics & issues.
|
The Albion College
Post Office is the center for US
postal correspondence as well as
intra-campus mail communications.
Each Albion College student is issued a mailbox for their use during
their college career. All
student mailboxes are located on the
first floor of the Kellogg Center.
|

The Campus Living
Room, which is located on the north
side of the Information Desk. This
is the most formal area of the
Kellogg Center. Meetings,
book signings, and receptions are held
in this room.

The Living
Room has multiple conversational
groupings, great for meeting
friends, gathering to discuss a
class project or just relaxing.

The Grand
Piano is available to anyone who
wishes to stop by the Center and
share their musical talent.

A cozy spot to get warm by
the fireplace on a cold Michigan
winter day.
|

The ride share board can assist
students in finding
others who live in the same
geographical area to share rides
back and forth from home on holidays
and other breaks.

Gerstacker Commons,
commonly known as "the Stack" is
the largest room in the Kellogg
Center. It is filled with sofas,
chairs, and tables for people to
hang out. This room can be used for
many different events such as
comedians, bands, dances, lectures,
and other special events.
|

The SEE, our small
eating and entertainment area
provides a comfortable spot to
gather, visit, watch tv, and eat.
Cozy chairs by the fireplace, booths
and bar height tables and chairs
make the SEE an enjoyable space to
meet with friends. |

The beautiful
railings on the stairway add to the
architectural attractiveness of the
building.
|
|
Third
Floor |
|
The third
floor is where the Office of Campus Programs and
Organizations is located. Offices for several student
organizations may also be found is
this level. Located on this floor is
also the Alumni Conference
Room and the balcony to Gerstacker
Commons.
|

The Office of Campus
Programs and Organizations serves as
a coordination hub for student
activities and events. It is
home to Campus Programming, Student
Clubs and Organizations, Greek Life,
and Orientation (SOAR). |

The Alumni Conference
Room is the most used room in the
Kellogg Center. Its walls are lined
with plaques for each of the
Distinguished Alumni Award winners. |

This is the view from
the Balcony of the Stack. |
|
Fourth
Floor |
|
The
fourth floor is the only floor in
the building that is enclosed from
the other floors. It is a great
place to hang out and have fun! It also contains the
Seminar Conference Room and the Student Senate
Conference Room which can be
reserved for meetings. It hosts the offices
or storage spaces of many
student organizations on campus. The
Offices of Student Senate and the Pleiad, Albion College's Student
Newspaper are also located on this
floor.
|

Entering the fourth
floor, you initially see the large
arch-shaped glass wall that encloses
the area.

The loft is the most dominating
feature on the fourth floor.
It provides additional gathering
spaces.

A cozy nook under the sky light.

Tucked away in the loft is a
Foosball table.

At the end of the loft is a great
arch window. The view through
the window provides a birds eye view
of the campus quadrangle. |

The Seminar
Conference Room is the most
versatile meeting room as the tables
and chairs can
be configured in many different
ways. Typically the room is
set as shown above in a roundtable
discussion format. |

The Student Senate
Conference room is our smallest
meeting room. It's name is
derived because it is located next
to the Student Senate Office.
While named Student Senate
Conference Room, the room is open
for all to use. |
