Residents of Albion and surrounding
communities who are at least 18 years of age with a valid ID are
eligible for access. ID must show a picture, address and
proof of age. A Drivers License is preferred.
Access is prohibited to anyone under the age of 18.
Community use is restricted to the Mudd Computer
lab and only when the lab is staffed by a lab assistant.
Community users will present their
valid ID to the lab assistant. The lab assistant will enter
name, address city and computer station number in a log and will
then login the user on the computer. Usernames and passwords
will not be issued.
Community users are prohibited from printing.
Community users must give up their computer station to
campus users (faculty, staff or students) whenever necessary.This includes, but is not limited to anytime when there
are not enough free stations to accommodate campus users and
when the lab is reserved for training or special use.
To accommodate the increase in student use during the
end of the semester, there will be no community access during
the last two weeks of the fall and spring semesters.
The Mudd computer lab only staffed
during the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session,
therefore there will be no community access during breaks and over
the summer months.
