The Institutional Review Board reviews all courses and research projects involving human participants. There are three categories of IRB review of research involving human participants:

1. Monitored review (sometimes referred to as Exempt from expedited or full review),
2. Expedited review, and
3. Full review.

All research using human participants, including that which the investigator believes is exempt from expedited or full review, must be submitted to the IRB for approval.

Meeting Schedule
The IRB committee will be meeting every other week during the fall semester. We publish the meeting times so anyone in need of IRB approval will know the deadline with ample time to prepare their request.
