Built in 1916 with donations from the Methodist Epworth Leagues in Michigan, Epworth Hall served as the home for the Physics Department until the science complex was constructed in 1969. It has since served as multipurpose office and classroom space. Epworth was also a favorite spot for hanging sheet signs, which were a vehicle for advertising student events and airing current concerns. A sampling of sheet signs appears in the gallery below.
