Mr. Griffin is a native of Muskegon Heights and Detroit, MI. Michael is a graduate of University of Cincinnati School of Social Work earning a Master of Social Work degree. Prior to joining the Albion College family, Michael served as Race Relations Researcher and Public Programs Manager at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, OH. In his work at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Mr. Griffin researched racial attitudes of residents of Greater Cincinnati and developed community dialogue models regarding issues of social justice, race, class, gender, and sexual orientation to foster sensitivity and greater awareness.
