TEAMS
Co-Ed: Each team shall consist of 4 players on a team, with at
least two women playing on the court for each team at all times.
UNIFORM & EQUIPMENT
- No equipment or uniform which may be injurious
to another shall be allowed.
- No uniform which is obscene or abusive shall
be allowed.
- All glasses should be attached to the person
by a safety device.
- No jewelry is allowed when playing (post
earrings, wedding rings, and medicinal bracelets are acceptable).
GAME RULES
Basic volleyball skills and rules apply, unless otherwise stated.
SERVICE
- The server may stand anywhere within 3 feet of
the backwall.
- The server must contact the ball with one (1)
hand or arm during the serve.
- The serve may strike the side wall, but may
not strike the opponent’s backwall or ceiling.
- The last person to serve on each team may not
block or hit at the net until the next service.

Teammates will rotate service after each side-out.
RALLY
- Any volley hit may strike the side wall, but
cannot strike two consecutive walls and/or the opposing
team’s backwall before striking the floor.
- Teams are allowed three hits per side. A
block does not count as a hit.
- The ball may be played off the ceiling on your
own side. If a ball hits the ceiling and goes over the net, the
rally is lost.
- A ball may be played off your own wall. The
ball may strike more than one wall on your side of the net if
it is touched by one of your players before going over the net.
- Players may not step under the net or touch
the net at any time.
- Players may not reach over the net to hit the
ball. You may follow through over the net if the ball is contacted
on your side of the net.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions are allowed at any time by either team (“on the fly”).
SCORING
- Matches consist of 3 games. A team must win 2
games to win the match.
- Each game is played to 15 points and you must
win by 2 points.
- You can only win a point when your team
serves.
TIMEOUTS
Each team is entitled to 2 timeouts per match.
OFFICIALS
The lack of an Observation Deck means you do your own officiating.
A supervisor is available to answer any questions or solve any
conflicts.
