Intercollegiate Men’s Choruses – National Seminar

Come to Albion College for a Men’s Singing Spectacular!

From March 17 – March 18, 2023, join over a dozen participating tenor-bass choruses from all over the country as we share in the music and camaraderie that are the hallmarks of male choral singing. The original event, scheduled for 2020, was postponed due to COVID, and we are looking forward to welcoming our colleagues from around the country to Albion.

Our Friday evening concert will be the renowned professional male ensemble Cantus, appearing as part of the David L. Strickler Endowed concert series. With 15 collegiate, high school, and community-based tenor-bass choirs from several different states and Canada giving performances, the IMC National Seminar is an event you won’t want to miss! Where else can you find so many men’s choruses in performance; reading and interest sessions tailored to your needs; and colleagues from all over the country who are anxious to share their stories and compare notes? You won’t find another event like it anywhere in the world! All events will take place at the historic Goodrich Chapel at Albion College and the adjacent First United Methodist Church, in Albion, Michigan.

All concert sessions are open to the public free of charge, no tickets required–registration required for attendance at interest sessions and reading sessions.
