Every Gift Counts.

Every gift given to Albion College makes a difference in the life of a student. In that spirit, the college strives to recognize categories of donors who support the college.

To join a giving society, please consider investing in Albion at the levels listed below. When making a gift, keep in mind that contributions from matching gift employers also count towards your membership in a giving society.

Members of Albion College's Shield Society support the college through annual gifts of $100-$499. These gifts provide a strong basis of support for campus programs, academics, facilities and scholarships.

The Crest Society, named after Albion's signature purple and gold crest, is comprised of donors who give $500- $999 annually. Crest Society members build on Albion's strong liberal arts tradition by supporting, among other things, a variety of student scholarships.

Briton Society members show their Albion College spirit by giving between $1,000 and $2,499 each year. Their generous gifts are used across campus to support everything from student research projects to the British Eighth marching band.

Whether or not they're sporting Albion colors, Purple & Gold Society members provide significant support to the College each year. Through their gifts of $2,500- $4,999, members of the Purple & Gold Society ensure that current and future Albion College students receive an outstanding education on a pristine campus.

Members of the President's Society are recognized for their annual gifts of $5,000- $9,999. These gifts support the President's vision of creating a campus of students, faculty and staff who are Always Thinking.

The Albion College Trustees recognize those in the Trustees' Society for their significant annual gifts of $10,000- $24,999 given to Albion College. Through their financial support, members of the Trustees' Society advance Albion College's mission and vision, helping students translate critical thought into action.

As leaders in philanthropic giving to Albion College, members of the Io Triumphe! Society make strategic leadership gifts to Albion College. Their investment allows Albion College to continue its commitment to academic excellence while providing learning opportunities to students both inside and outside of the classroom.

Members of the Stockwell Society are building a legacy at Albion by supporting the College through planned gifts.

1835 Society

The 1835 Society honors Albion College's founding and heritage. As an elite group of donors, members of the 1835 Society are committed to investing $1,835 annually in a scholarship fund that recognizes hardworking students who also have financial need.

Recipients of the scholarships are engaged, thoughtful students who truly exemplify Albion College's liberal arts tradition. For most of the recipients, support from the 1835 Society allows them to be here at Albion College today.

As a member of the 1835 Society, you will receive special recognition throughout the year.
