Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Anthropology and Sociology The Department of Anthropology & Sociology invites applications for a full-time one-year position in archaeology, to begin in August 2008. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and be able to teach introductory courses in anthropology along with upper-level undergraduate courses related to their area of specialization, but of interest to a wide range of students. Experience with liberal arts education desirable. The course load is three courses per semester. Albion College is a selective liberal arts college with an enrollment of 1850 students, and is located in a small, culturally diverse community in south-central Michigan within an hour's drive of major universities. An endowment supports continuing faculty research and scholarly development.
