Suggested Reading: Getting What You Came For: A Smart Student's Guide to Earning a Master's or a Ph.D., Robert L. Peters. Chapters 15, 16, 18 (available in the Honors Center.)

Colloquy Goal: To develop a thesis topic and thesis advisor by the end of the semester and to begin preliminary research on this topic.

Evaluation: The course will be graded on a credit/no credit basis. Credit will be given to all students who complete the spirit of the assignments below and keep a clear record of their progress in developing a thesis proposal by keeping a written journal.
