In the last several years the Observatory has undergone
substantial renovations to turn it into more
suitable home for the Honors Institute.
In August 2004 it was renamed the Prentiss M. Brown
Honors Institute. We
would be delighted to give you a tour of our
new space
the next time
you are back for a
visit. The entrance to the building was
completely redesigned
to make the first
floor handicapped accessible. This
floor now houses the new Honors
classroom where most
Honors seminars are held. The
second floor contains a reorganized thesis
library, a new cluster
of computers for student use, and offices for the Honors
Director and Coordinator.
