October 13-15

Homecoming 2006 was a great success. Over 610 alumni came back for class reunions, with approximately 1600 alumni attending events Friday through Sunday. Snow greeted alumni, parents, and friends on Friday morning, but the cold weather didn't deter the Briton Homecoming spirit, as over 140 people gathered for the 1956 Sponsored Symposium: 50 Years of Liberal Arts at Work.

Friday evening, over 200 attended Albion's Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony. Though snow and rain were predicted for Saturday, alumni and friends enjoyed sunshine and a high of 50 degrees. The warmer weather provided the perfect backdrop for a variety of activities, including the Distinguished Alumni Awards, the football game, and several receptions.

Throughout the day and evening on Saturday, classes enjoyed their class reunions, with record turnouts at several reunions. The fifty-year reunion set an all-time high for reunion attendance with over 165 classmates, spouses, friends, and faculty emeriti attending. Sunday morning began with informal brunches and breakfasts and finished with the traditional Homecoming choir and Orchestra concert.
