Please plan on joining us for Albion College Homecoming Weekend 2008. If your class year ends in a three or an eight, this is your year to come back to Albion College! Stroll down memory lane with friends and get reacquainted with the campus by joining in on all the traditional Homecoming festivities. Best of all, your class will gather for a class reunion.

We are working on the planning for reunions and class activities. If you would like to join the planning committee, or have any ideas for your celebration, please contact the Alumni Office at 517/629-0247 or via online contact form.

We invite you to submit your favorite photo of you or you and your Albion friends in an interesting environment. Whether your photo depicts an alumni trip to Greece, a recent Detroit Tigers game attended with classmates, or a motorcycle trip through the Mojave Desert with your Albion roommate, we want to see your most creative photo that illustrates an Albion connection.

Photos will be displayed at the Kellogg Center and the Dow over Homecoming weekend, and the top photos will be awarded prizes. Read on for complete contest and submission details.

Art Exhibit - Marking Time: Douglas Goering Retrospective
Representing work from 45 years of art-making, this exhibit features pieces, primarily abstract paintings, which address aspects of visual perception. In many cases, viewers will see the same idea revisited several times, providing a line of continuity. Visitors to the show will find their own experiences inform their viewing and interpretation, and Goering notes, “Their responses will surely approximate my intentions.” Professor emeritus Douglas Goering retired this spring after 22 years in Albion College’s Department of Art and Art History. Read on for gallery hours and exhibition details.
