Welcome Center and Classroom
The Nancy G. Held Equestrian Center offers students a unique combination of technology and top-grade facilities. These include the welcome center, which features a reception area, classroom, offices, kitchen, restrooms, and a comfortable lounge with large windows overlooking the indoor and outdoor arenas. As part of Albion College's commitment to bringing the latest in technological advancements to students and staff, the Center features wireless computer technology.
The viewing gallery and student lounge, a popular place for students to study and observe lessons.
The equestrian center also receives all of the most recent issues of equestrian publications so that students can catch up on the latest news and horse-related information. They can often be found on the coffee table in the student lounge.

The plaque in the Welcome Center honoring benefactor Nancy G. Held reads: “A former director of Albion College’s teacher education program, department chair and professor emeritus of education, Nancy Held provided many years of mentoring to future generations of educators. For over four decades she has provided counsel to four college presidents and a host of college and community organizations. Dedicated October 15, 2004.”
