Extreme Makeover: Equestrian Edition!
| On Thursday,
September 27, members of the Albion College Equestrian Club
participated in a work day at the Nancy G. Held Equestrian
Center. The goal for the evening was to clean up all of the
hard-working school
horses that serve the riding program and the event was open to the entire club, giving members
who don’t have a horse on campus or who have not had the
pleasure of working with horses the opportunity to do so.
Everyone broke into teams and selected one of the school horses
(each of whom is
named after a nearby city or town). They proceeded to give it a bath, trim
its whiskers, or pull its mane and,
thanks to everyone’s hard work, each of the school horses looked
magnificent at the end of the evening. |
