Veterinary Care: The Held Equestrian Center staff is capable of dealing with simple veterinary cases and our local veterinarian visits the barn once per week. He is also on call for all emergency medical problems.

Paddocks: The Equestrian Center has turn-out paddocks available for horses. Every day (except in bad weather) the horses are taken out to the paddocks. Students must inform the staff if their horses have special turn-out requirements.

Horse Walkers:  In the event of inclement weather and in the winter when horses are unable to be turned out into their paddocks, two European-style horse walkers enable horses to be exercised in an enclosed area when their student owners are unable to ride them.
