Internship Opportunities

Internships are an important part of the Gerstacker Institute and are
designed to give practical applications of the theories and techniques
learned in the classroom.
·
Internships are designed to allow students to test their interest in a
particular field and discover what they want, or don’t want, in their
future career.
·
Although
the majority of internships are paid, the most important benefits gained
from an internship are the experience of working in a business setting,
professional growth, and career insight.
Students have
three internship options for their two required internships.
-
Two full-time internships in the U.S. or
-
One U.S. internship and one full-time semester of study
at a foreign university or
-
One U.S. internship and one off-campus semester that
combines study with an internship.

The
Center for International Education provides information on
Off-Campus Programs that are offered through Albion College.
·
Students
completing the Gerstacker Institute
Concentration Program complete one internship.
