Music Recording and Rehearsal Studio, Paris, France
-Bobby Clase
I studied abroad in Paris, on the Paris Internship Program through
Boston University. It was an amazing experience to spend an entire
semester living in Paris. I lived with a host family that was very
accommodating and was always trying to help me improve my French. The
opportunity to live in Paris and experience the city, culture and
language was like no other.
The Boston program was great. It was 8
weeks of classes and 8 weeks of internship, so I got the experience of
both living, studying, and working in France's capital city. My
internship was at a music recording and rehearsal studio called Terrain
d'Entente. I worked at the front desk taking appointments and answering
the phone, as well as helping set up the studios for customers. It was
very laid back and fun to be able to interact with young interesting
Parisiens on a daily basis.
Overall the experience was invaluable. The
only way to truly make great strides in the French language is to live
in France for a period of time. During my time there I was able to
travel all over Europe and do the most amazing things, as well as
attaining a greater understanding of the French language.
