Winter 2005

On a cold and snowy December day my husband Bill, my sister Louisa and I (Cathie Grimm, Albion German prof) made our way to Heidelberg where we met up with three Albion students and the resident and assistant director of the AJY off-campus program. We had a wonderful lunch at a very nice Italian/German restaurant. Here is a slightly blurry picture of us all: from left to right: Cathie Grimm, Albion student Alex Becker, Cathie's sister Louisa, Albion student Sam Sloma, Albion student Meg Goebel, AJY Resident Director Brian Tracy and AJY Assistant Director Hanne Heckmann.

Good luck to Albion College German students Lauren Duthie, Gretchen Fuchs and Katy Knight who will be studying and/or interning in Tübingen, Bonn and Heidelberg this Spring. And also good luck to Alex Becker (seen in the above picture) as he moves on to spend his Spring Semester interning at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Wir wünschen Euch alle viel Spaß!

And of course we welcome back the following students: Christina Borrelli, Meg Goebel, Brynn Howard, Chie Okada and Sam Sloma.  We can't wait to hear your stories and see your pictures!
