A traditional Quinceañera is when a young woman makes her
debut before the church and society at the age of 15. It is a rite
of passage celebrating her transition from childhood to adulthood
and is one of the most memorable experiences of her life.
Wednesday the 3rd was an educational night about what a
Quinceañera is and taught about the event. Thursday the 4th was
Quinceañera style party.  It was fun!

The event was presented by
The Organization for Latino/A Awareness
and Co-sponsors:
The Spanish Department, Union Board,
Umbrella, Intercultural Affairs, CoffeeHouse and LAAP.                                Quinceanera and chambalan
