Institute Application

1. Apply to Albion College

Each Institute at Albion has its own application. Please complete the College application first, and then you may submit your Ford Institute application.

2. Apply to the Ford Institute

We accept 60 students into our first year class. For your application to receive equal consideration with those of other candidates and to receive preferential consideration for a Ford Institute scholarship, it must be submitted no later than March 1.

Applications will continue to be accepted after the March 1 date, and qualified students will be granted admission on a space-available basis.

3. Schedule an Interview

Please include on your application a WEEK DAY date or two and general time that would be convenient to visit campus for your interview.  Telephone interviews are also available. The Ford Institute Coordinator will contact you to schedule your interview, or you may e-mail us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
