First-Year Experience Seminars

Fall 2012

All entering students enroll in a First-Year Seminar as part of the College's core requirement for graduation. The First-Year Seminars booklet (available soon) contains information on each seminar. Students identify their first four choices among these offerings on a registration card, which is brought to the SOAR session. (Note: In some seminars, a field trip fee will apply.)

The seminars are offered as part of the William Atwell Brown, Jr., and Mary Brown Vacin First-Year Experience.

If you have further questions about the First-Year Seminars or the registration process, please contact Dr. Andrew Dunham, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Registrar, Registrar's Office, phone 517/629-0217.
