STUDENT LOANS - FEDERAL LOAN PROGRAMS

Albion College is committed to assisting students and families in making a higher education affordable. We encourage all families to apply for federal financial aid (grants, loans and work-study program) by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All applicants are eligible for assistance in the form of federal student loans, regardless of income. To complete your FAFSA on the web, please click on the link below to be directed to their site.

Albion College is a Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program participant. We do

not participate in the William D. Ford Direct Lending Program as established by the

Federal Government. Therefore, all funding for the Stafford student loan program and

the PLUS loan program must be obtained from a private lender (a bank, credit union or

other lender that participates in the FFEL program). Albion College does participate in the

Michigan Students First loan program.
