Art Exhibit: “Restorations: Saving Albion’s
Prints,” Bobbitt Visual Arts Center
Our collection of more than 2,500 prints, including works by
Rembrandt, Cézanne, Picasso, and many others, was damaged during a
steam leak in the building in 2006. All of the works were removed
from Albion for restoration at the Chicago Conservation Center. This
fall we welcome back the first 500 restored prints. In this exhibit,
many of our finest prints are displayed with materials explaining
the restoration process. |
