Onity Locking System
(formerly known as TESA)
- Authorized User - A user whose card is
authorized to open a door. This user, when swiping their card, will
allow the lock to open momentarily. The door will then promptly
return to a locked state.
- Owner - A user who's card has the ability
to lock or unlock a door. This user, when "Double Dipping" their
card, will cause the lock to be put an unlocked state, such that
users following do not need to swipe the lock at all. "Double
Dipping" a lock will change it's state - from locked to unlocked or
vice-versa.
- Schedule - A time frame in which a lock
will change itself into a locked or unlocked state. For example, a
lock could be programmed to be "Open" on weekdays between 9:00 am
and 5:00 pm.
- Office Mode - Mode in which the door is
locked until the first user of the day after a programmed "Open"
time swipes their card. After that, the door remains unlocked
until a predetermined "Closing" time
