Field Trips to Important Ecosystems: Florida

Our first trip was to Florida, in March 2000.  Here we saw a state which harbors some magnificent and fragile ecosystems, including the only coral reefs in the continental United States, and which is undergoing explosive growth and development.  A principle theme of the trip was the issues deriving from these facts.  Below you can click on any area to see photos from the trip, or you can follow it chronologically.
